Our journey began in September 2015, when Rabbi Yann Arnoux — after studying in Israel's leading Yeshivot under some of the greatest Rabbis of our generation — decided to return to Montpellier with his family. His mission was clear: bring Torah back to a city steeped in Jewish history and the legacy of outstanding scholars. His first goal was to create a center for the region's students, to reconnect them with their Jewish identity. The project quickly took shape, and on September 1, 2016, the Olami Center of Montpellier was officially inaugurated in its first premises at the Nautilus. Over the years, the initiative has grown. Today, Rabbi Arnoux leads not only the Olami Center, but also the Jewish school of Montpellier — from kindergarten to middle school — as well as the Thorat Rishonim Yeshiva, which attracts young men from all over France. However, our growth has reached the point where our current premises no longer meet our needs. Worse, our Jewish school is now facing eviction: the landlords have chosen not to renew their commitment to us. We need your support to grow and to help others grow. We are counting on your generosity and on your care for the future of Torah and its people.
